Cole Camp has an active Chamber of Commerce that works to create a favorable economic environment that will both attract new businesses and support the current business infrastructure. The Chamber is a 55 member organization that includes all major businesses in the area along with members of the city government, members from civic organizations and individual citizens active in promoting the city. The Chamber sponsors a number of events to attract visitors and stimulate business.
Some these events are:
- A Taste of Cole Camp in March
- The Maifest in May
- A Car and Bike Show and City Wide Garage Sale in June
- Oktoberfest in October
- Christbaumfest in December
Encouraging tourism is a major thrust of the Chamber's efforts offering an appeal to tourists interested in antiques and crafts and as well as historical and cultural events.

Cole Camp Community Betterment Association
The Community Betterment Association (CCCBA) works closely with the Chamber of Commerce and the city government to improve both the quality of life and the image of the community. The CCCBA sponsors events to attract visitors to the community, and events that provide services to local residents. The CCCBA provides some advertising promoting community activities and offerings. Town beautification projects as well as park development have been major efforts of the CCBA. The CCCBA, like the Chamber of Commerce, sponsors a number of events to appeal to local residents and to attract visitors.
